As our products grew in complexity, it became clear that the existing dashboards were no longer serving users effectively. In both Locallia and Fluxum, users interacted with powerful systems, but the interfaces made it harder than necessary to understand what mattered at a glance.
The main challenge wasn’t a lack of features, but an overload of information presented without clear hierarchy. Users were spending too much time searching for data instead of acting on it.
We started by observing real usage patterns. In Locallia, advertisers needed quick access to campaign performance and device status, while in Fluxum, club owners cared most about memberships, payments, and daily operations.
By mapping common workflows, we identified friction points where users hesitated, clicked unnecessarily, or misunderstood system states. These moments guided every design decision that followed.
Simplification did not mean removing functionality. Instead, we focused on progressive disclosure — showing essential information first and revealing advanced options only when needed.
For Fluxum, this meant prioritizing daily operational data over long-term analytics. For Locallia, it meant surfacing real-time performance metrics while reducing visual noise from secondary controls.
Both dashboards were redesigned with real-world usage in mind. Users often access these systems quickly, between tasks, or on mobile devices. The interface needed to support fast decisions, not exploration.
Clear typography, consistent spacing, and restrained visual language helped reduce cognitive load and made the dashboards feel calmer and more predictable.
Throughout the process, we tested changes incrementally. Feedback from early users of Locallia and Fluxum validated that tasks were completed faster and with fewer errors.
These iterations confirmed that a simpler interface doesn’t limit power — it amplifies it by allowing users to focus on decisions instead of navigation.
The final dashboards are cleaner, faster, and easier to understand. Users can immediately see what requires attention and take action without second-guessing.
By aligning design with real operational needs, both Locallia and Fluxum gained interfaces that scale with complexity while remaining approachable and efficient.
